Act

Louth Churches for Refugees is regularly involved in campaigning in support of refugees, including correspondence with our MP on a range of issues.

Working in association with the UK Government’s Community Sponsorship programme, we support two resettled families in Louth.  This includes:

  • Arranging housing
  • Ensuring a warm welcome to the family’s new home and local community
  • Organising access to education, medical and social services
  • Accessing language tuition
  • Supporting towards employment and self-sufficiency

We have recently welcomed a second family.  If you support our objectives we encourage you to consider becoming a member of Louth Churches for Refugees.  There is currently no membership fee, and members are entitled to attend and vote at all general meetings of the charity.  Contact us to find out more.
